How you will make a difference
The Aged City Living (ACL) Program responds to the needs of vulnerable and socially isolated people 50 years and over, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people 45 years and over, experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
Reporting to the General Manager Homefulness, you will support a passionate and dedicated team who work cohesively with the aim to increase wellbeing, build capacity and resilience and achieve sustainable housing independence and community inclusion goals for clients.
This position will be offered on a full-time fixed-term contract until 31 December 2024.
About you
The ideal candidate will be experienced in leading a client-facing team with excellent administration, research, and report writing skills. You will display flexibility in response to changing priorities with the ability to establish and maintain strong links with stakeholders.
Your client-centred and non-judgemental approach will be at the forefront of everything you do along with excellent communication and negotiation skills. You will have knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards along with the ability to translate government funding requirements.
Qualification in community services or a relevant field along with experience in the aged care or homelessness sector is preferable. You must have, or be willing to obtain both a satisfactory National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.
