We are currently seeking applications for a Team Leader (ASO6) to join the Claims Management team at Super SA, Department of Treasury and Finance
This is a temporary Fixed Term contract of up to 12 months.
Remuneration: ASO6 – Salary Range ($97,022 p.a. - $102,626 p.a.)

About the opportunity
The Team Leader, Claims Management is responsible for the leadership and management of the Claims Management team. The team delivers specialist claims management, deals with insurance applications, and provides customer service to members and stakeholders.
The Team Leader has extensive contact with internal and external customers and will be required to work collaboratively with all teams within Super SA and staff across other Government Agencies to achieve required business outcomes.
About you
You will have leadership experience in a service delivery environment where services are delivered across multiple channels. In this role you will be required to work on complex cases and provide technical support to the team. Experience in reviewing death, total and permanent disablement and income protection claims will be highly regarded.
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- Experience in leading change and developing new concepts and procedures to improve services and maximise performance.
- Demonstrated experience in case reviews, complaint resolution, external dispute resolution and litigation matters.
- Ability to interpret and adhere to legislation and regulatory requirements within the life insurance industry.
- Ability to work independently within guidelines, while meeting critical deadlines and utilising excellent attention to detail skills.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate, influence and negotiate with a diverse range of clients at various levels (both verbal and written).
