About the Role
The primary objective of the Team Leader role is to facilitate a consistently high standard of operational delivery outcomes for both their immediate team through training, evaluation, and support, as well as meeting individual delivery objectives through the management of a reduced caseload. This includes supporting team performance across quality, productivity and compliance to external regulations and internal policies and procedures. The duties of the role include, but are not limited too:
- Motivate and inspire team members through providing 1:1 meetings and file reviews.
- Provide mentoring, coaching, and training to team to develop their skills and competence.
- Promote a positive team culture and facilitate buzz meetings.
- Conduct tailored assessments and job plans.
- Assist jobseekers, to overcome vocational and non-vocational barriers.
- Provide participants with tailored pathways into sustainable employment and manage job plans.
- Undertake reverse marketing to employers to connect jobseekers.
- Develop participants skills and knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with the deed and claims guidelines.
- Work with the broader team to achieve shared goals and outcomes.
- Induction and training new starters.

- You are a passionate and driven individual, who thrives in a high-performance culture
- Experience as a Senior Employment Consultant within Employment Services is a minimum requirement
- Experience in managing diverse teams
- Established relationships with employers, training and community organisations
- Resilient, self-motivated and an ability to influence
- Flexibility to meet and manage challenges based on Program outcome milestones
- Compliance and quality focused
- Passionate about finding people employment and striving towards the success of all stakeholders
- Strong network of local businesses, training and community organisations would be desirable
- Valid driver's license
- Valid Police Check, WWCC/Blue card
