Organisation Overview
NASAA Certified Organic (NCO) is a subsidiary company of the National Association for Sustainable Agriculture Australia (NASAA), Australia’s first organic industry association. NCO established by NASAA is Australia’s leading national and internationally orientated organic certifier. With operations in Australia and overseas, NCO provides certification and inspection services which assist in facilitating market access throughout the world for NCO certified product. The scope of NCO’s certification service covers the entire organic supply chain including production through processing, wholesaling, packing, retailing, importing, and exporting.
Role Overview
Based in Stirling, this role reports directly to the General Manager whilst working closely with the Certification Manager and the Certification team. As a part of NCO’s management team, the Team Leader Certification Services is responsible for overseeing the export documentation team as well as the contracted national and international inspectors. As the first point of contact for new client applications, the role is also responsible for maintaining the database, coordinating with the Certification Manager to provide appropriate training to the team and developing partner programs.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
NCO is seeking a motivated and efficient leader with proven knowledge of ISO, a strong work ethic and attention to detail. To be successful, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build collaborate relationships with a range of stakeholders. Knowledge and experience in organic farming or agricultural industry will be highly regarded, although not essential.
