The opportunity
Within this highly impactful leadership role you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations and people management of the team. You will lead the team to deliver customer complaint responses within the regulatory guidance framework (RG271) and ensure that all complaints are recorded appropriately.
As an experienced Team Leader, ideally within superannuation, you will focus on consultant development and provide support to the team through coaching, mentoring, running team meetings, training, performance reviews & appraisals.
As an exceptional leader you are passionate and driven to help champion our renewed focus on advocacy. The ideal candidate will guide our consultants in interpreting the insights derived from customer complaints, effectively communicating these findings to relevant business units.
This role involves educating the wider business on the feedback received from complainants and leading the charge in implementing necessary improvements. This position is pivotal in transforming complaints into constructive feedback and driving positive change within our organization.
About you
We are looking for an individual who has worked in fast moving transformational environments and is comfortable working with a degree of ambiguity.
You are a passionate leader with an obsession to support, inspire and coach your team to achieve their best.
In addition, you should ideally be able to demonstrate:
- Strong leadership experience within financial services, ideally superannuation
- Experience working within the regulatory guidance framework (RG271)
- Extensive experience in training, coaching, motivating and providing constructive feedback
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written and with the ability to build strong relationships across an organisation
- Facilitation experience with the ability to run meetings and workshops
- Experience working in an ever-changing environment where it is imperative to use initiative and problem solve
