Mitolo Family Farms now offers the perfect opportunity for highly motivated Team Leaders to join its rapidly growing and dedicated production team in Virginia.
Reporting to the Shift Production Manager you will enjoy leading teams and creating a positive work culture, have a passion for food quality and production equipment and be inspired to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Your duties will include:
- Lead, organize and co-ordinate the team to ensure customer orders are packed to specification and delivery requirements
- Ensure packing lines are set up and staff allocations are managed effectively to ensure maximum productivity
- Ensure team members comply with quality standards
- Complete documentation for daily production requirements
- Create an effective team of production personnel through supervision, mentoring, and on-the-job training
- Ensure all organisational policies and procedures, and WHS requirements are consistently met
- Monitor production equipment and efficiencies
The following skills and attributes will be highly regarded:
- Experience in a production or food processing environment
- Previous people management experience
- Experience with packing lines
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to make timely decisions
- Exposure to lean manufacturing practices.
