Your Opportunity

Join our passionate Northern Specialist Family Violence Service team who are leading the way for integrated family violence services in the Northern Metropolitan sub-region.

Victim Survivors and their children's needs are at the forefront for our team. Our key purpose is to ensure they can remain safely within their community and maintain a life free of violence. Our services support victim survivors of family violence and their children inclusive of cis gendered heterosexual women and, their children; and people from the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex and Queer Community (LGBTIQA+) and their children.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for an experienced family violence professional to provide leaership and guidance within The Orange Door. You will provide support to a small team of highly skilled family violence practitioners who collectively provide screening, assessment, triage and response functions to all incoming referrals for victim survivors and their children, to The Orange Door (HMA).

You will have experience within the sector, sound understanding of the Child, Youth and Families Act 2007 and the Family Violence Protection Act 2008 and enjoy working within a multi disciplinary team.
