As a Team Manager your role is to to take a leadership role in the development of services and management of a team. You will provide appropriate levels of management, supervision, support and training to the team to ensure high quality, culturally responsive practice in line with Key Assets Vision and Values. You will play a leading role in service delivery and practice to ensure that high quality services are received by children and young people in our care with high and complex needs.
Working closely with the Operations Manager, you will be part of a very welcoming, professional and dedicated team.
You will have
- a recognised tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology or Human Services or other relevant discipline
- at least 3 years’ experience working in the OOHC sector, with significant experience working with children and young people.
- strong networking skills to enable you to raise the profile of Key Assets Australia within the OOHC sector
- management and leadership skills would be highly regarded
- experience working in collaboration with other professionals in child protection, health, disability, education and/or children and families services.
About you:
Our ideal applicant will hold a qualification in in Social Work, Human Services or other relevant discipline or related field or 3+ years’ experience in a similar role. Experience working in the public sector or social care system will be highly regarded.
A comprehensive working knowledge of Complex Care - OOHC will also be expected.
