Key requirements for the role include:
- Adhere to the Technical Services consumer repairs process.
- Ensure each stage of the process is completed in a timely manner.
- Serve customers over the counter for:
- Consumer repairs
- Process My Nintendo customer orders in line with company procedures and policies.
- Sort, collect and prepare product for filling of orders.
- Collect and record all payments for counter repairs, staff and spare part orders.
- File all payment transactions and receipts.
- Adhere to the Technical Services refurbishment and remanufacturing processes.
- Maintain the departments refurbishment and remanufacturing processes to ensure stock levels of recovered product are maintained.
- Adhere to the Technical Services spare parts process.
- Maintain the departments spare parts process to ensure product orders are filled and despatched regularly.
- Adhere to the Technical Services RLO process.
- Maintain the departments incoming RLO batches by timely processing each month.
- Adhere to the Technical Services daily, weekly and monthly calibration, test and check processes.
- Maintain the departments daily, weekly and monthly log books.
Skills / Qualifications / Experience
- Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or above in electronics/computer systems engineering or similar
- Skills
- Basic electronics knowledge
- Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
- Basic knowledge and operation of Microsoft Office suite
- Intermediate knowledge and operation of computers and related systems
- Ability to fault find and diagnose complex electronic devices
- Ability to work under pressure and perform tasks within set time frames
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- High level of attention to detail
- High level of dexterity
- Experience
- Related work in electronics repair or manufacturing environments
- Assembly and/or disassembly of products
- Worked within strict guidelines and/or procedures/policies
- Experience in video game playing is a plus
