Technical Lead - End User Compute

Leading state government department has an immediate requirement for a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead - End User Compute to join them on a long-term well-paid day rate contract. The successful applicant will primarily be responsible for overseeing the End User Computing and Infrastructure delivery phase activities under the ICT workstream that meet the requirements of the agency, while adhering to applicable Queensland Government standards.

In this role you will:

• Work with project & BAU Solution Architects to ensure pre-designed ICT workstream solutions are successfully implemented as intended to meet identified business needs;
• Provide expert End User Computing advice across planned technical solutions, including architectural risks, issues, resulting implications and viable alternatives;
• Provide technical support across existing business applications and integrations within the QCS environment;
• Ensure solutions & technologies implemented within the ICT workstream maintain alignment with existing QCS Cyber Security principles and processes; and
• Work with ICT workstream resources and BAU staff to ensure all identified business requirements are met.
