- Permanent Full-Time position working 76 hours per fortnight
- Salary range from $79,000 to $87,900 plus superannuation

We’re looking for an ambitious Infrastructure Technical Officer who is keen to contribute to our community.
About the role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional Infrastructure Technical Officer with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills. Your role is vital to liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding all the technical infrastructure activities such as:
- Coordinating traffic, parking and drainage investigations, surveys and designs.
- Assisting with preparing specifications for Capital Works, including tender and quotes.
- Assessing and approving new crossover applications.
You will bring your previous experience overseeing technical projects to ensure that inspections are done in a timely manner, and work schedules are within budget. You will be responsible for keeping appropriate registers and different databases up to date and you assist the Project Engineer with various tasks, including writing council reports and grant applications.
Skills and Experience

You will have the following skills:
- Review and processing of applications applicable repairs and maintenance to Roads/Laneways/Footpaths and verge inspections.
- Traffic Management tasks, including organising annual traffic counts as per the schedule, reporting on these and ensuring they are safely addressed.
- Deliver high standards of customer service and advice in response to resident and other stakeholder queries in line with the Town’s Customer Service Charter.
Qualifications
- Qualification diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent or demonstrated relevant
- Ability to interpret and design civil engineering plans.
- Well-developed customer service skills, organisational and time management skills.
- Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications
- Valid Driver’s License.
