We are seeking a motivated Technical Officer to play a pivotal role in coordinating and managing activities within our Operations section, ensuring smooth project initiation, efficient contract administration, and effective project management.Please to view a full Position Description.What you should have to apply:
- Extensive experience in construction & maintenance of Local Government infrastructure and/or a recognised tertiary engineering qualification (AQF Level 5 or above)
- Knowledge on civil construction & maintenance issues
- Experience in preparing contract tender documentation
- Traffic Management Implementation (TMI)
- Computer literacy
- Driven to succeed
- Be willing and able to follow instructions, including complying with written procedures
- Possess good interpersonal skills in order to provide excellent customer service and work effectively as part of a team
- Current drivers’ licence
- Construction and project management qualification (AQF Level 5 or above)
