Our engineers carry out complex and highly technical projects throughout the product development chain of the most prestigious companies in sectors including Automotive, Aerospace & Defence, Energy, Manufacturing, Public Sector and Life Sciences.
QR_ is currently expanding its activity in Australia and we are looking for a Technical Procurement specialist to join our team starting in Q1 2024
Requirements
- Define technical delivery parameters and develop statements of work for technical services.
- Review proposals and select service provider resources.
- Review current supplier base and consider and suggest improvements.
- Coordinate with engineering and finance departments
- Work within a Technical Procurement team with engineers and other technical specialists
- Provide analysis of procurement data for reporting and the selection process.
Must have:
- 3+ years' experience in procurement (engineering or technical field an advantage)
- Demonstrated experience working with statements of work and requests for quotes in a professional service delivery environment.
- Ability to collaborate and work in a team.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Eligibility for security clearance is required.
Nice to have:
- Experience creating engineering statements of work.
- Experience in using SAP
- Engineering qualification
- Defence industry experience
