Position in a nut shell:
As the Technical Sales Manager, you will be the forefront of the business, hunting new opportunities and managing a portfolio of clients across the civil infrastructure, retail, leisure and commercial space. This is a standalone role with the view of building your own team in 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and effect the strategy for new project wins
- Educate engineers and major builders in the methodologies and advantages using our clients solutions
- Generate revenue and new opportunities across infrastructure and major commercial projects
- Develop and manage a portfolio of key clients and customers within the commercial / civil market
- In 2025 - build and train your own team, set budgets, strategic planning for 2022
Ideal Experience:
- Proven field sales experience from the building materials space – senior BDM or Sales Manager level
- A structural or civil engineering background is preferable, what is essential is someone who thrives in a sales environment with a strong technical appreciation of building products. Related products could be roofing, walls, formwork, piling, modular buildings, drainage, reinforcing, fixing, bracing, anchors, tensile, steel mesh, masonry, precast concrete, remedial or waterproofing
- Relationships with Commercial Builders, Asset Owners, Civil Contractors, Structural Engineers, Councils, Government, Road, Traffic or Train Authorities
- A hunter mentality
- Stable career history
- Ambitious, tenacious and driven with a real passion for delivering beyond the clients expectations
- Must be up for a challenge
- Keen to progress into a more senior role in 2025
