About the role
We are looking for someone who shares our passion for making our evolving our industry from Diesel to Electric buses.
Bus Stop Sales and Service Pty Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Sales Representative to join us in a full-time capacity. We are a leader in the diesel and electric vehicle space with great work and opportunities.
This role is Monday to Friday which will involve working with/on new and used buses and light trucks and focusing on:
- Supporting the Customer & Dealer Network on EV Truck & Buses a
- Support Zero Emission Truck & Buses technical information
- Visiting regular and prospective client businesses to establish and act on selling opportunities, communicate technical proposals, demonstrate company’s commecial vehicle solutions particularly the solutions of the transition to Zero Emission Vehicles.
- Setting out custormized product and technical proposals, compiling vehicle and technical documents, answering the questions about vehicle, technology and service in response to clients’ procurement and tender.
- monitoring customers' changing needs and competitor activities, and reporting these developments to sales management, putting forward proposals of new vehicles and/or variants according to the customers needs analysis, and communicating with R&D department of manufacturers for the development of new vehicles and/or variants accordingly.
- Analyzing sales data as well as the marketability of the vehicles and reporting to the sales manager.
The successful applicant should have a strong background in either Truck or Bus, vehicle diagnostics and fault finding as well as learning and working on medium and large electric vehicles.
Skills and experience
- Prefferred bachelor degree but not required for the right candidate
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial vehicle sales, preferably in the bus and coach sales industryApplicants should be able to work independently
- Full Australian working rights/willing to obtain visa
- Bus experience would be a bonus but not critical
- Electric Vehicle experience would be a bonus but not critical
- Be highly motivated and reliable - needs to be able to work efficiently and effectively
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and articulate complex solutions.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Fluent Mandarin would be an advantage but not critical as all our major suppliers are based in China.
- Enjoy working in a team environment is essential
