About the Role:
As a Technical Sales Representative for Weather and Environmental Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth nationally across Australia. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead business development and account management activities across End Users, System Integrators and Distributors, working with businesses in sectors such as Defence, Government and Agriculture. You will be responsible for identifying new sales opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Drive business development activities to identify and secure new sales opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients through effective account management strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop customized solutions for clients.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts and terms of agreements with clients.
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience in Technical Sales or a related field.
- Strong understanding of technology and instrumentation principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
