Your experience working in soft flooring across carpets, vinyl, rubber and timbers is highly desirable for this role.
Daily tasks include:

• Support the current distribution market
• Develop other flooring accounts throughout NSW
• Deliver technical and sales presentations
• Write specifications
• Train installers
• Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers
• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
• Reach out to customer leads through cold calling
• Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
• Coordinate technical and sales efforts with team members and other departments
• Analyse the territory/market’s potential
• Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services

Requirements:

• Have the technical expertise to; write specifications and train flooring installers
• Understanding of the NSW flooring market
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Familiarity with CRM practices along with ability to build productive business professional relationships
• Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in Technical Sales
• Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
• Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
• Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
• Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
