We are seeking a Technical Sales Representative to support our clients within Food & Beverage with the ability to provide both technical and solution-based customer service support.
VinCru is a privately owned Australian Company and one of the largest suppliers of consumable products into the Australian Food & Beverage Industry. HACCP accredited and we source and distribute quality products sourced locally and around the world.
We are currently recruiting for the role of Technical Sales Representative based in Laverton North Victoria. A full-time role, reporting to the General Manger, the purpose of this role is to provide technical support for our Food & Beverage clients including our cleaning and sanitisation portfolio within the designated territory and to provide practical solutions and manage clients within your region.
Your agile approach will suit the continually changing attitude to the methods by which we service our customers within our industry groups. How? New ideas, new approaches, and new products will be necessary for us to continually provide our customers with the best level of service and products available.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Liaise with distributors and clients in your designated territory.
- As you are an agile, adaptable individual you will understand the need for excellent customer service.
- Set pricing and have oversight of customer orders from processing to follow up.
- Provide national technical support to the VinCru Team, distributors and clients.
- Grow sales by supporting clients trialling new products and analysing results.
- Provide up-to-date effective marketing strategies.
- Use your technical product knowledge to ensure compliance for VinCru’s QA is held to HACCP standards.
The successful applicant should have:
- Qualifications in Food-based Science.
- Knowledge of the Australian Food & Beverage industry.
- Knowledge of the Australian Wine industry.
- Have a current drivers licence.
- Have excellent customer engagement capabilities.
- Ability to think quickly and provide effective technical advice.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Efficiency and organisational skills.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- A positive “Can do” attitude.
