JOB OVERVIEW:
We’re looking for a proactive 2 full-time positions (38hrs / week) as Technical Sales Representative for our team at Tropical Brazil Pty Ltd. The candidates will actively take ownership of our products, support business growth, and foster relationships with our clients. RESPONSABILITIES AND MAIN TASKS:
Below are some of the responsibilities the Technical Sales Representative is expected to undertake in his position:
- Use technical skills to sell as well as provide training on how to use the Soft Service Machines;
- Acquires and updates knowledge of employers' goods and services as far as Soft Serve Machines is concerned. It is compulsory deep technical and operational knowledge as well as providing training and able to answer technical question from our customers.
- Establish sales objectives through forecasting through a sales process and compile lists of prospective and client’s businesses using directories and other sources;
- Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends and competitors;
- Establish and adjust sales prices by monitoring costs, competitors, and supply and demand indicators;
- Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs and report to Sales Management.
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media and compiling lists of prospective and client businesses using directories and other sources;
- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services to prospective clients;
- Create frequent reviews and reports with sales;
- Ensure the availability of stock for sales and demonstrations;
- Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences;
- Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints;
- Collaborate with team members to achieve better results;
- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams.
- Arranges delivery of goods, installation of equipment and the provision of services.
- Prepares sales reports and maintains and submits records of business expenses incurred.
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:
- Proven experience as a Sales Executive or relevant role;
- Proficiency in English and Portuguese is a must;
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office;
- Experience with CRM software is a plus;
- Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques;
- Fast learner and passion for sales;
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach;
- Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations;
- Familiar with food distribution industry;
- Self-motivated and driven by targets;
- Resilience;
- Strong Communication Skills – verbal and written;
- Ability to influence and negotiate with others;
- Numerical Skills.
QUALIFICATION:
At least a Bachelor degree is required in fields such as Business Administration, Marketing, Communication and related fields.
LOCATION:
You will be based in Banksmeadow and occasionally travel would be required by Senior Management Team
