Gurit are a leading manufacturer and supplier of advanced composite materials, tooling automation, core kitting and composite structural engineering services. Our materials range comprises structural core materials, structural profiles, prepregs, and formulated products such as laminating resins and adhesives.
In Australia, we continue to build on our existing customer base in the marine and industrial composites sector with innovative products, local stock from our Queensland warehouse and by selling direct and through a number of resellers to the market. We support our customers with local support, backed up with technical and engineering support from around the world.
About the role

- Reports to the Australian Sales Manager with autonomy to grow sales.
- The successful applicant will provide technical and commercial support to existing and new clients.
- Support local and regional sales plans to deliver growth to achieve targets
- Ensure customer satisfaction
The successful person will be responsible for:
- Maintaining existing accounts and maximising our opportunities with them.
- Developing new business contacts and clientele with the emphasis on establishing long term relations and repeat sales
- Supporting Regional Sales plans, budgets and executing those plans
- Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Territorial selling in Victoria, Tasmania, South and Western Australia.
You will be:
- A high achiever and results focused
- Have relevant tertiary or industry qualifications
- Experienced with at least 5 years’ in the marine or industrial composites market
- Skilled in selling, negotiating and have the ability to close the opportunity.
- A problem solver and with attention to detail
- Above average in Microsoft office
- Familiar with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
- Able to work across multiple departments within a global organisation
Rewards:
The position is full time. Working remotely, you will be based in either Victoria or South Australia. A competitive salary for the right person will be offered, along with a car allowance, computer, mobile phone and a rewarding bonus scheme. The candidate must be able to travel within Australia as required/directed.
