The Role and responsibilities:
BAF's Technical Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with BAF’s commercial customers and specifiers while providing technical support on BAF products to internal and external customers including but not limited to:
- Reviewing project and product specifications, selecting product, and providing quotes within relevant time frames and other project parameters to customers.
- Preparing preliminary solutions and pricing on products as requested by internal and external customers.
- Providing product information - including data, product brochures, etc. - upon request provide advice and guidance on technical queries to both internal and external customers.
- Applies knowledge of airflow and product features to match products to the needs of clients.
- Develop new and maintain existing accounts with Electrical Wholesalers, Contractors and Consulting Engineers
- Present CPD presentations to Architect/Engineers
- Confidently educate customers on our products and there applications
- Maintain appropriate customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction is maintained
The successful Candidate will have:
- Experience and exposure in the electrical trade (Preferred but not essential)
- Strong presenting skills with the ability to present to diverse audiences
- Proven success in a similar sales role
- Proven ability to maintain and build relationships with clients
- The ability to work independently and in a team environment as well as having the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a timely manner.
- The ability to read and interpret technical plans and tender specifications.
- Ability to present and teach technical concepts
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient sales and negotiating skills
