We’re on the hunt for a proactive, driven and self-motivated Technical Writer with exceptional time management skills to join the Snack Brands Australia team. This is a full-time role on a minimum 12-month fixed term contract which will be based at your choice of one of our 3 operational sites (Blacktown, Smithfield or Orchard Hills), focused on the development of technical documentation to support the upskilling of new starters and continued growth of existing employees as we embark on an operational transformation journey.

In this role you will be responsible for the creation and delivery of technical documentation such as standard operating procedures, technical guides, training plans and line inductions. This role is crucial for supporting our business transformation journey as we consolidate operations across multiple manufacturing facilities into one.

What you’ll be responsible for:

• Revise existing material and develop new content for technical documentation adhering to project timelines.
• Gather and analyse technical and product information from various sources to document new or changing product functionality.
• Produce high-quality documentation for our operations by implementation of SOPs, training guides, work instructions and inductions.
• Managing document usability through ongoing maintenance, review, monitoring content and formatting.
• Work with stakeholders to understand requirements for documentation creation.
• Ensure content retains technical integrity, is grammatically correct and aligns to SBA document standards.
• Building rapport with wider team and operations to understand the ins and outs of the processes at Snack Brands.

What you’ll bring to the role?

• 3+ years’ experience in writing procedure or user technical documents
• Certificate IV in training & assessment
• Previous experience in FMCG experiences is desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organisational and coordination skills
• Attention to detail a must
• Ability to translate technical language into simple easy to follow user instructions
• Follow-up and being able to keep on top of multiple tasks
• Ability to prioritise and manage stakeholders in work in a fast-paced environment
