Accountabilities
Provide consultancy and advisory services for small technology projects
1. Provide consultancy and advisory services to assist Project Managers from other areas of the business when there is a technology requirement.
2. Collaborate and coach staff to understand technology requests, change and work take on processes.
3. In conjunction with Technology Operations Coordinators and lead technicians, conduct technology options analysis to identify recommended solutions to business problems.
4. Build and drive successful relationships across the business promoting a best for business approach to solutions and delivery priorities.
Manage the delivery of small technology projects
5. Scope, plan, and schedule projects assessed to be 'small'.
6. Lead the delivery of 'small' projects (typically delivering a number of projects at the same time).
7. Lead the management of risks, dependencies and issues associated with project delivery.
8. In conjunction with Technology Operations Coordinators and SMEs, schedule resources to deliver small projects.
9. Engage with program sponsor, project sponsors and request initiators to provide ongoing status and advise on small projects.
10. Design, develop and embed suitable project and change management practices to deliver successful change through small projects.
Promote and embed clear governance and processes
11. Support the embedding of processes and tools to improve maturity of governance frameworks and delivery.
12. Promote, and adhere to change control requirements ensuring system changes are effectively managed to minimise business disruption.
13. Promote and apply change management principles to ensure technology solutions are easily adopted and meet business needs.
14. Maintain a high level of understanding of corporate policies, procedures and processes.
Support innovation and continuous improvement
15. Roll model continuous improvement processes and tools with all stakeholders
16. Continuously seek improved ways to work and efficiencies within team
