About the Role:
Reporting to the Sales Manager - Technology, you will be required to develop new sales opportunities & oversee the preparation & submission of competitive quotations to achieve growth within the SAFETY & SENSING market in Sydney.
We are looking for someone to professionally represent both NHP and Rockwell Automation Brands.
You will be responsible for providing pre-sales technical engagement with the NSW sales team, product marketing managers, current & potential customers which will include training, demonstrations, presentations, proof of concept & joint opportunity pursuits.
Other duties include:
- Build & maintain strong networks in the End User, System Integrator & OEM market segments to create, influence and win opportunities.
- Draft proposals & detailed costings, along with preparing contract documents prior to negotiation with clients
- Working with the Sales team to develop & implement account strategies in order to influence positive outcomes for NHP & our customers.
- Ensure CRM is updated regularly to reflect activities & current information on projects and customer contract details and opportunity pipeline.
Ideally you will have / be:
- An Electrical Engineering degree or an Electromechanical background
- Strong Technical or Trades background, preferably from within the Industrial Automation market, focusing on Safety Switching & Sensing Components
- Previous experience in Industrial Manufacturing, Mining, Machinery equipment etc
- Proven experience in Safety Technology
- Good working knowledge of Australian safety standards & understanding of safety category ratings CAT/PL/SIL
- A track record in delivering sales results & servicing customer needs
- Proven experience in strategic planning & objective setting
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Outstanding communicator who thrives on building strong customer relationships
- Highly motivated with a drive to succeed
