In this role, you will provide dedicated efficient and quality support to the Community Care Department staff on all City's information and technology systems. This position is the first point of contact ensuring a priority service level is achieved to meet the expectation and demand of the Community Care department while still aligning to the IT support policy, processes and procedures.
This is a temporary full-time position for 2 months.

Classification: Band 5 ($76, 355.79 - $86, 617.32 pa plus super)
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide an efficient, effective, professional and quality service to internal Community Care department customers by being a contact via phone and email for IT support of desktop environment, Citrix environment, desktop software, corporate applications software, phones and printers.
- Ensure all IT support interactions are logged through IT service management software.
- Provide efficient and quality installation and support to maintain operational capability of desktop hardware and associated equipment in both an on-site and IT Service Desk environment.
- Provide efficient and quality installation, delivery and maintenance of software (e.g. Office 365), corporate applications software (e.g. HP Records Manager, Oracle Financials, Pathway, etc) in both an on-site and IT Service Desk environment.
- Maintain and support mobility fleet and associated relevant technologies.
To be successful in this role, you will have a tertiary qualification in computing or relevant discipline and relevant practical experience in an IT environment OR lesser formal qualifications with substantial experience.
Essential Experience:
- Relevant practical experience in an IT environment.
- Ability to effectively train staff in system applications and use of mobile devices.
- High level customer service skills.
