Jekana Pty Ltd T/A Active Communications and Electrical WA is a leading electrical contractor providing quality solutions to diversified sectors of our industry.
We are currently looking for an experienced Telecommunications Technical Officer to assist with our telecommunications systems.
An experienced Telecommunications Technical Officer is someone who has a minimum of 3 years within the Telecommunications industry.
The successful candidate will be assessed on the following criteria:
- Sound understanding of WHS requirements and responsibilities – including SWMS, MOP’s, JSA’s
- Experience reading, interpreting, and providing advice on design drawings.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
- Experience in running a rigging crew, including daily tasks, scheduling, OH&S, reporting, risk management, solution focused, risk mitigation and team dynamics.
- Experience with problem solving design and build issues.
- Experience in the use of testing equipment such as site masters, PIM testers, RET testers & Fibre testing.
- Effective site safety awareness
- Leadership, supervisory and motivational skills
- Interpersonal and good communication skills
- Decision-making and analytical skills
- Ability to work well under pressure individually and as part of a team.
- Responsible, calm and able to plan, delegate and prioritize work and other daily activitiesAbility to plan ahead effectively to foresee potential issues
Salary range: $90,000 to $100,000
