- This 3-day per week Territory Manager position drives sales in the Newcastle area. The territory will start around Gosford on the Central Coast and will look after customers in Northern NSW including Tamworth & Coffs Harbour and surrounds.
- Working within a diabetes product portfolio, you will build and manage strong relationships with hospital customers, including diabetes educators. You will report to a Sales Director based in Sydney.
- The role will be focused on growing market share through the identification and development of sales opportunities, working through the sales pipeline to close deals.
- You will be the main point of contact for your customer base building and managing strong, long-lasting relationships with customers and other influencers to push positioning in the market utilising your influencing skills on buying decisions using tact and diplomacy.
- You will develop and close new business opportunities with existing and new customers and identify areas of improvement to meet sales targets while developing and executing short-term plans to achieve objectives.
- You will monitor and report on current market intelligence, competitor activity and customer interactions and represent the organisation at conferences and customer events.
- You will maintain customer and account management details, including accuracy in the sales funnel and regular reporting of territory performance and business management opportunities is key to this role.
- You will be the product expert to drive clinical practice.
- Preferably a related degree in science, nursing or similar.
- Ideally you will have similar experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industries, in sales, with good sales results, with diabetes exposure. Certainly, a clinical aptitude is necessary.
- However, you might be a diabetes educator looking to move out of a purely clinical role into a commercial position, harnessing your potential to earn what you are worth.
- You will need to have a passion for diabetes and care about patient outcomes.
- You will need to live around Newcastle or between the Central Coast & Newcastle and be open to 3-days a week as this is a part-time role.
