About the role
The purpose of this role is to promote the Oncology and Urology products in the marketplace. The Urology/OncologyTerritory Manager has full ownership and accountability for managing specialists on your territory, providing consistent, evidence backed and value adding service for Oncologists and Urologists who support the treatment outcomes for patients with prostate cancer.
Responsibilities:
Sales Accountability
- Build and develop relationships and credibility with external experts and appropriate health care professionals in the prostate cancer field participating in robust scientific dialogue.
- Use your insights to build and deliver a comprehensive business plan that will drive value and deliver commercial growth to the portfolio.
- Identify and develop specialist advocacy initiatives and opportunities.
- Support the implementation of key programs which differentiate and enhance Cipla’s standing in the healthcare market.
- Continue to build on your knowledge and expertise in the prostate cancer area.
- Face to Face communication with customers as well as other channels e.g. Virtual, Phone, email
- Keep abreast of competitive activity on your territory
- Review sales results and report on infield performance of portfolio
- Create a Business plan each 6 months to guide your strategy.
- Expense management with monthly reporting
- Construct a Key Account Management plan and execute same
- Weekend work where necessary eg. Sponsored events
Educational qualifications:
Science or related Qualification
Relevant experience:
- 3 + years Hospital/Specialist Pharmaceutical selling experience (Oncology/Urology highly desired)
- Strong Networking experience
- Working closely in a team environment
- Expertise conveying scientific data / clinical papers
- Constructing and Executing Business Plans
- Successful demonstration of KPI/ SFE measures
- Managing sponsorship of HCPs
- Running educational meetings
- Presentation of MDT/Journal clubs
