In addition, Almex Group has developed android industrial tablets, software and belt scanning technologies used in belt rip detection along with belt tracking and dust suppression products.
Shaw Almex Pacific Pty Ltd. is a branch of Almex Group that supplies and services the Australia, New Zealand and the Asia Pacific region.
Working as part of a small Perth based Australian Team with connections throughout the Almex Group, you will have the opportunity to learn and grow your skill base.
If you're working within the conveyor industry and want to get off the tools we want to hear from you. No sales experience necessary. Most importantly you have a decent understanding of the Almex product range and enjoy providing solutions and building relationships. Belt Splicers and other trades within the conveyor industry are encouraged to apply.
What you will do in this role
- Identify large projects, propose solutions and actively manage the opportunity pipeline.
- Estimating & Quoting of new equipment, spare parts and service jobs.
- Create and capitalise on new business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain outstanding relationships with customers Internal & External and suppliers
- Maintain comprehensive market knowledge across the Conveyor Mining sector in WA
- Work alongside Service & Sales team driven for sales success
- Maintain partnerships with internal & external suppliers to ensure cutting edge solutions and to maximise sales opportunities
- Travel throughout WA with some interstate travel required

- Experienced Technical Sales Professional with a proven track record of sales growth & providing solutions to customers. No sales experience required for candidates well versed in Almex product range.
- Commercially focused, self-driven and results orientated with a strong business acumen
- A natural relationship builder with a passion for solution based sales
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Industry knowledge in mining service and equipment sales markets, 5 + years ideally
- A background in conveyor maintenance or service
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint packages
- Proficient in pricing and quoting small and large jobs
