We are looking for a result oriented, energetic Test Manager/Lead who will be responsible for providing leadership for the delivery and acceptance of all aspects of technology infrastructure testing across multiple projects this includes test strategy, design & develop test cases based on functional and nonfunctional requirements, test automation, executing test cases, defect management, reviewing/approving test results including test metrics, signoff for go-live.
The Test Manager will provide expert process improvement advice to reduce defects and provide assurance that risks associated with implementing new systems are accurately quantified and addressed.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Customer Management: Proactively manage customer needs, expectations, and satisfaction throughout the testing lifecycle by understanding business requirements, processes, and deliverables.
- Testing Strategy Development: Analyze detailed business functional and non-functional requirements specifications to develop testing strategies that reduce the risk of system outages and identify defects.
- Test Administration: Administer testing scripts to maintain compatibility with existing applications, hardware, and devices, and support quality assurance activities aligned with quality experiences.
- Quality Management: Maintain Technology Infrastructure quality management policies and processes that drive improvements in testing infrastructure test processes for compliance against documented standards and provide input to improvement programs that enhance the quality of services to the business.
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead, motivate, and develop the Testing Team through day-to-day and formal performance management processes to deliver fully tested fit-for-purpose solutions and deliverables.
- Testing Process Compliance: Apply repeatable and sound testing techniques in alignment with standards to confirm solutions are fit for purpose.
- Process Documentation and Enforcement: Document, implement, monitor, and enforce all testing processes as per standards.
- Defect Management: Undertake Defect Management by managing the retesting of defects through to correction and acceptance by system owners, monitoring outstanding defects using Quality Centre (QC) and JIRA.
- Testing Activities: Undertake testing activities as required, including developing testing documents, and executing test plans/scripts to support the test team.
- Test Reporting: Prepare and submit detailed test reports to describe testing outcomes and assist engineers in the removal of defects.
