An exciting new leadership opportunity has opened for a Nurse Unit Manager to join our team!
About the Role
The successful candidate will be joining our Dudley Private Hospital & Ramsay Surgical Centre Theatre Complex which managers 8 operating theatres, including 1 hybrid catherisation laboratory.
Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services, you will work with and support nursing staff in achieving excellence in care delivery in line with best practice and legislative requirements.
The successful candidate will supervise, lead, direct and motivate staff to achieve outcomes with the ability to manage financial and human resources.
You will effectively manage roster processes, allocate duties for nursing staff, proactively increase occupancy where possible and provide a positive, safe, learning environment.
Your Skills and Experience
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated extensive experience as a Clinical Nurse or Nurse Unit Manager in a theatre services setting.
- Post graduate Clinical Nursing qualification (or currently working towards)
- Minimum of 3 years management or team leading experience
- Be professional and highly motivated with a passion for enhancing staff engagement
- Proven effective communication and interpersonal skills in a multidisciplinary environment
Remuneration
On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $60.62 - $65.21 + superannuation based on qualifications and experience. Exclusive of penalties and allowances.

About Our Facilities
Dudley Private Hospital (DPH) is a 62-bed facility that provides a comprehensive range of medical, surgical, rehabilitation and psychiatric services. The hospital has 4 Operating Theatres. Apart from general medical and surgical beds there are 27 licensed rehabilitation beds and a 15 bed mental health unit, known as the Ramsay Clinic Orange.
Ramsay Surgical Centre Orange (RSCO) is located off site, with 4 operating theatres managed as a day surgery unit with a CSSD Hub & Spoke Sterilising department servicing both RSCO & DPH

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases, which may include Covid-19.
