The role will see you undertake rehabilitation, correctional and physical activities as directed by Allied Health Professionals such as Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists to meet client needs. Work will be between Monday to Friday each week from either 8am - 12pm or 9am to 1pm. Key Responsibilities- Assist with allied health programs for clients in the home, within the scope of ability and training to meet client needs.
- Communicate with team regarding care provided to clients on an ongoing basis to ensure activities and care provided is consistent with changing client needs.
- Identify areas for ongoing training and development.
- Maintain confidentiality of information
About you- Cert III in Allied Health Assistance as a minimum OR be at least a 2nd year university student of either OT or Physio
- Demonstrated experience in aged care activities and/or speech/mobility/occupational and/or cognitive therapies.
- A current Australian Driver's Licence.
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate desirable but not essential
- Well Developed communication, time management and organisational skills.
Under the Aged Care act 1997, successful candidates will be required to provide a satisfactory National Police Clearance prior to commencement.
