The Program Services team currently has an opportunity for a Timetable Coordinator. The role is responsible for the delivery of scheduling, staffing and timetable services to enhance the UNSW College Education experience and will be part of the Student and Program Administration team supporting UNSW College Education programs.
Key responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:
- Prepare, publish, maintain, and revise the official academic timetables for UNSW College, utilising a range of systems and spreadsheets.
- Ensure that rooms are allocated to achieve maximum usage capacity and that scheduling conflicts are resolved appropriately.
- Ensure high quality, efficient and effective customer service is provided to all stakeholders, in particular departmental timetabling staff within the UNSW College education programs.
- Support Timetabling Team Leader with projects related to timetabling solutions, which may involve options analysis, test data set up, user acceptance testing, participation in project workshops and meetings and end user training.
The successful applicant will have (but not limited to):
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent training or experience
- Proven experience in a similar role with direct experience scheduling/timetabling in a complex environment
- Experience using timetabling technologies (e.g. Syllabus Plus/Schedule+/Allocate+)
- High level of competency in information systems and technology
