Form of work We are seeking a Tobacco Regulatory & Compliance Officer for a state government department in St Leonards. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting tobacco, e-cigarettes, and smoke-free compliance activities. This is a 12-month temporary assignment aiming to start ASAP. The hourly rate is $55 per hour plus superannuation. You will be required to work on-site, five days a week, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. DescriptionTobacco Regulatory Control Officers are responsible for conducting tobacco, e-cigarettes, and smoke-free compliance activities, including: Inspections of regulated retailers and smoke-free locations to provide face-to-face education and monitor compliance in line with our regulatory priorities. Compliance monitoring and issuing Penalty Notices and cautions to members of the public allegedly in breach of the provisions of the relevant legislation.
