An exciting permanent opportunity exists with a global property development business to own the tour function across Australia. This role will be responsible for the planning, execution and coordination of their tours. Working closely with various departments such as sales, marketing, finance and operations to ensure the success of all their tours.
The responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Manage the full tour operation life cycle, from itinerary development and costing to supplier sourcing, contracting and booking management.
- Oversee the operational aspects of tours, including transportation, accommodation, activities and logistics.
- Ensure all tours adhere to safety regulations, quality standards and budget constraints.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to secure the best rates and services.
- Handle all guest inquiries, campaigns and emergencies effectively.
- Analyse tour performance data and identify areas for improvement.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new tour products and services.
- Diploma/ Degree in tourism or related field
- Minimum 5 years tour operation experience
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering tours
- Strong understanding of the tour and travel industry
- Excellent organisational, planning and communication skills
- Experience with GDS systems preferred
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software
- English/ Chinese speaking preferred
