SalaryAlign Planning is a town planning firm based in Bundall, Gold Coast. We are passionate about planning and delivering excellence to our Clients, large and small. We work on a broad range of projects, which are often complex and challenging, ranging from single Dwellings to large mixed use or master planned communities, but nonetheless always rewarding to achieve the desired results for our Clients. Our work spans across various local government areas, with a particular focus in Gold Coast, Logan and Ipswich.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated Town Planner to join our Planning Team. You will be working closely with the Director on various town planning services, including (but not limited to); development applications, due diligence reviews and providing general advice.
To be successful in this role you will require:
- A Town Planning degree recognised by the Planning Institute of Australia (PIA)
- Demonstrated 1-3 years’ experience in a planning role (motivated graduates are also encouraged to apply)
- Previous experience in development assessment will be highly regarded
- Current drivers license
To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess the following attributes:
- A sound knowledge of relevant planning and other related legislation
- A broad understanding of current planning issues and general policy direction
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to effectively problem solve
- Be a highly motivated individual and eager to learn
