Trade Sales Representative - Newcastle, Hunter & North Coast

Hope Estate is a family-owned Beer, Wine, Spirits & Events business based in the heart of the Hunter Valley.  Our award-winning Brewery and established Winery produce a complete range of Wine, Beer and Cider along with a growing range of spirits, including Whiskey from our recently-opened Distillery.

We need an energetic and enthusiastic locally-based Sales Representative with to join our Trade Sales Team to increase our Trade Sales and capitalise on amazing growth opportunities.  The territory for this role extends from north of the Hawkesbury River to Coffs Harbour with a focus on Newcastle, Hunter, Central Coast and Port Stephens.

Key areas of the role include: 

• Development of new trade customers
• Relationship management and identifying new opportunities with existing customers
• Increasing brand awareness in the marketplace
• Develop and foster a healthy sales and opportunity pipeline
• Promote wholesale sales of all Hope Estate products to bottle shops, bars, restaurants and other retail & hospitality outlets
• Nurture communication between clients and internal operations teams.

The successful applicant will need to:

• Be a go-getter who is prepared to knock on doors.
• Be resilient, adaptable, proactive and well organised
• Have exceptional oral and written communication skills
• Have a genuine interest in the drinks trade business
• Have a current driver's licence and NSW RSA
• Possess relationship building skills across multiple levels of business contact points

Ideally you will also have:

• Experience in the drinks/hospitality industry.
• A clear understanding of Australian wine styles and regions
• An understanding of the brewing process and beer styles
• Exposure to spirit styles and how they are made

The salary package includes vehicle and phone and is commensurate with experience and qualifications. This position is available to Australian Residents only.
