Business traineeships give you real life experience and the opportunity to gain a nationally recognised qualification – all while being paid!
Under the guidance of the team, you would act as first point of contact for people visiting or calling the office, providing a range of general administrative support and finance services.
What can you gain from completing a traineeship through Work & Training?
- You would be employed by Work & Training – the largest employer of Apprentices and Trainees in Tasmania, and hosted for the duration of your traineeship.
- You would receive professional guidance from your immediate supervisors, as well as mentoring and support from a Work & Training consultant.
- The theory side of your qualification would be conducted one-on-one in the workplace, with expert tuition, by one of our amazing registered trainers.
- Full time employment and entitlements, including four weeks of holidays per year.
- On completion of your traineeship, you would receive a nationally recognised Certificate III in Business – BSB30120.
We are looking for candidates with:
- Exceptional customer service skills with a professional attitude.
- Confidence to communicate with a range of people, contributing to team activities.
- The ability to be adaptable and work under pressure, seeking out and utilising opportunities to learn.
- Organisational and time management skills, with the flexibility to change direction when the need arises.
- Ability to set short & medium term targets, priorities and schedules in order to meet business goals.
- Excellent initiative and attention to detail,
- Sound IT skills with a general understanding of Microsoft Office applications.

- Certificate II in Workplace Skills qualification,
- Previous customer service experience,
- Drivers license.
