Embarking on an innovative journey St Vincent's Health Australia are launching a project to implement an early Electronic Medical Record (EMR) platform across our ten private hospitals. Our vision is to establish a robust EMR foundation and add further clinical modules and functionality over time. As we step into this transformative phase to strengthen clinical quality and safety, we invite passionate individuals who are dedicated to revolutionising patient care through cutting-edge digital healthcare technology to join our dynamic team.
We are actively sourcing two (2) experienced Trainers and one (1) experienced Training Coordinator in Brisbane QLD to join our project on a Fixed Term Full-Time arrangement commencing as soon as possible until 28 February 2025. In addition to the expertise you will bring, you will join an experienced, engaged and dedicated Project team that is committed to transforming patient care for St Vincent's Health Australia.
The Training Coordinator will be responsible for facilitation between the Training Manager, clinical stakeholders and Training teams. This is not only a leadership opportunity but is a hands on training role including involvement in the design and production of training resources to assist in the delivery and success of the EMR project.
The Trainers will be responsible for working with internal stakeholders to design, plan, deliver and track the delivery and Training of the system for end users.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Coordinating, supporting and facilitating training across all project phases using a variety of training mediums
- Producing a variety of training materials to meet the needs of staff supporting the implementation and adoption of the EMR
- Assisting in the design and implementation of training plans and delivery, including knowledge transfer within your team
- Meeting training objectives and reporting on key information and deadlines aligning with the project timeframe
- Reporting on any issues and further development required with training leads and collecting and communicating feedback from your team to key stakeholders and managers within the broader project team
- Supporting post go-live training and troubleshooting of any issues
- Involvement in the review of training and resources as part of continuous improvement
Things that work for us:
- Proven experience in a complex project environment leading training design and implementation of large-scale projects
- Exposure to ICT related Healthcare environments and proficiency with training systems and processes and/or similar
- Understanding the importance of feedback and tailoring your training to the learning needs of others
- Passion for delivering training and the ability to support your team leads and peers to promptly problem solve and troubleshoot under timeframe pressures
- Experience teaching and delivering training to others in a supportive and innovative way
- A genuine leader with the ability to support team promptly problem solve and troubleshoot under timeframe pressures
- Current 2023 Flu Vaccine and a minimum of two (2) COVID-19 Vaccinations
- National Criminal History Check (within the last 6 months)
