About the role
Activ Pathways is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) established by Activ in 2008 to deliver a variety of qualifications and general work skills training in industry specific areas.
Due to an increased demand, an opportunity exists for a qualified Trainer & Assessor to join our Activ Pathways team, delivering high quality training in Cert III & Cert IV Individual Support - Disability to internal staff and external providers.
This is a full-time permanent opportunity based in our Bentley Office delivering Training in Perth and Regional WA.
A typical day in the role may look like……
- Delivering accredited and non-accredited programs through face-to-face training both on and off the job;
- Coordinating, monitoring, reporting on participant progress and supporting learners with a varying range of abilities;
- Ability to engage students whilst delivering face to face training with attention to quality service.
The ideal candidate will have: -
- CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support (disability) - essential
- CHC43115 Certificate IV in Disability - highly desirable
- Cert IV Mental Health - highly desirable
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE 40116) - essential
- Understanding of community and social issues related to disability service provision;
- Previous experience in a similar role with the flexibility to travel
- Current Driver’s license
