Heavy Mobile Plant Trainer Assessor - Site Based

Buru Rehab currently has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Trainer and Assessor to join our team in the Pilbara Region. This is a roaming project so you will oversee all current sites, supporting our Indigenous Trainee Program (Green Trainees) and upskilling current staff.
Supported by the hands-on leadership team, the role will be based on various sites as required and will cover all aspects of Training for our projects.
This project will suit someone with a thorough understanding of indigenous culture and will be able to mentor, support, and bring out the best in our people from the local communities and on the Country, we are privileged to work on.
You will be training our Employees on the below Plant.
- Dozers, Excavators, Loaders, Graders, ADT, Watercart and Skid Steer- so relevant experience on these machines is a must.
To be considered for the position you must possess the following as a minimum:
- Cert IV TAE40116 - Certificate IV Training and Assessment
- Clean National Police Clearance
- Relevant Bulk Earthworks Machine Training and Assessor Role experience in the Civil or Mining sectors
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven knowledge of Australian WHS laws and regulations
Things we would consider a bonus:
- Certificate IV HSE
- Experience around screening plants
- Indigenous descent and living local to the Pilbara Area.
