Training Coordinator

Splice-Tech is an independent, well established company and for over 26 years we've specialised in maintaining conveyor systems, of both surface and underground operations.

Due to growing demands in operational training and site induction management, we're looking to fill a Full-Time role to support our Administration Team.

Job brief

The position on offer is for an experienced Training Coordinator who will be required to prepare, facilitate, monitor, evaluate and manage documents and training activities for over 45 employees, across 3 branches, covering more than 40+ customers.

Some of the tasks you will be performing are;

• Ensure effective training and timely sign-off for new employees
• Maintain the training calendar encompassing “Mandatory” and “Development” training
• Coordinate, monitor and maintain site training compliance
• Providing a high level of support to the Operations Department team to ensure inductions, medicals & training are current to meet site requirements
• Implement and manage induction programs to ensure all new employees gain a good foundation in HSE requirements, site policies and procedures and key information about the organisation and customer site requirements
• Coordinate the end to end process for targeted training programs (ie Traineeships)
• Work closely with HR and provide office support where necessary

Essential

• Relevant experience within a mining/industrial/manufacturing environment 
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft office suite and training databases 
• Ability to develop, implement, communicate and audit processes & systems
• Meticulous attention to detail  
• Strong organisational and communication skills 

Desirable

• Qualifications in Training
• Experience with Assignar Software
