About the position
We are seeking an enthusiastic Training Coordinator to join our team in Milperra. Reporting to the National HR Manager you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling employee training sessions and events, scheduling facilitators, presenters, and equipment as needed. You will work closely with various departments across the Group to provide guidance & support, identify training needs, ensure compliance training is completed, develop training materials, and ensure the effectiveness of training programs. The successful candidate may be required to travel interstate.
You will use your keen eye for detail to provide regular reports to the business on compliance, and completion rates, identifying any trends or needs and continually researching appropriate training programs that will benefit staff and the businesses; along with maintaining & ensuring all accurate training records across the states are documented and regularly maintained in the HRIS.
Skills and Experience
- Experience in a similar role, preferably in the steel or manufacturing industry.
- Exceptional communication (verbal & written) and presentation skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the capability to handle multiple simultaneously.
- Knowledge & experience working on learning management systems and e-learning.
- Familiarity with various training methods.
- Proficiency in MS Office coupled with strong administrative skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- A collaborative approach, with a passion for providing outstanding customer service to all stakeholders
- A team-focused mentality, and an ability to work effectively as part of an immediate and wider team
