The Role:
Reporting to the Transactional Accounting Manager, this role is responsible for providing a wide variety of assistance to the Transactional team. This role will ensure accurate and timely coverage of transactional team tasks, as well as working with the wider team to implement improvements to current processes and procedures.
Strong excel skills are important to this role, which will provide the employee the foundation to assist and guide others in the transactional team to efficient use of excel to achieve desired outcomes. The role is very much hands on and involves working closely with the wider Finance team to assist in general finance and transactional duties and processes as and when required, including providing cover for staff leave and absences.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Banking support and payment allocation
- Collections task including administering our auctions process and bad debt write off
- Invoicing and accounts receivable
- Processing of customer refunds
- Corporate Account administration support
- Accounts payable support

About You:
- An interest in finance and the workings of a larger finance team
- Strong knowledge of general office administrative procedures
- Excellent technology skills and highly proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Experience working in a KPI driven environment
- Appropriate degree and professional qualifications
- High knowledge of office administrative procedures and experience
- A detailed understanding of Technology One software (Ci anywhere) or other large ERP will be highly regarded
- High level of knowledge in Excel, including ability to analyse and consolidated different data sets and automate reconciliation processes
- Reliability, initiative, self-motivation and be driven to succeed without supervision
