Transport Administrator / Co-Ordinator

Harmon Transportation is a Hotshot delivery company currently operating from our Wangara base. Our efficient & service-focused team makes urgent Hotshot pick-ups and deliveries to mining clients across Western Australia and interstate.

As a result of consistent growth, we now look to add a self-motivated, hands-on Transport Administrator/Co-ordinator to our team who has experience in the transport and logistics industry and is ready to take the next step in their career. 

The successful candidate is motivated, has excellent organizational skills, and is attentive to detail. Only applicants with a valid HR Driver's License will be considered.

We are WAHVA with Main Roads, and being a Hotshot company, you may need to get out and pick up an item from time to time and bring it back to the depot if necessary. Therefore, this role requires no less than a valid HR driver's license.

Reporting directly to the general manager and managing director, this position will see you responsible for the smooth running of day-to-day operations and working closely with our team to promote safety, service, and efficiency initiatives. 

This is a Monday through Friday role 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities include;

Ensuring compliance with client and company policies and processes

Managing and servicing the fleet of light vehicles and heavy rigids.

Running the asset management system to ensure it stays compliant and up to date.

On occasion, getting on the road and help with pick-ups. 

Skills & experience required

Demonstrated experience prioritising and multitasking

Excellent communication skills, ability to deal with internal and external stakeholders,

Strong organisational and problem-solving skills

Computer / Software savvy

A proactive approach with the capability to adapt to changing priorities.

Permanent Australian work rights

Minimum HR license. 

Responsibilities

Managing the fleet of light vehicles and heavy rigid vehivles to ensure all vehicles are serviced and maintained using our asset management system.

Assisting around the depot with a variety of general tasks from time to time.

Assisting the oeprations manager with picking up goods during busy times.

Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Some mechanical understanding would be advantageous.
