Kashmir Logistics & Haulage Pty Ltd is an Australian based company providing Prime Movers, Semi-Trailers and B-double trailers to various companies around NSW and other states. We mainly engage in carting steel, Bulk Haulage and contract logistics for our clients.
We are now looking for an enthusiastic a full-time Transport Company Manager to join our Sydney office.
About the role:
Your duties will include, but not limited to:
· Planning, organising, managing trucks and truck drivers to ensure work is completed on time and consistent with the company's standards.
· Full knowledge and complying with transportation related policies, safety rules, load restraints, contracts and government regulations, especially national and all state laws and regulations for Heavy vehicles.
· Direct point of contact for all truck drivers and project site administrators.
· Maintaining accurate administrative records.
· Directing investigations to resolve customer complaints.
· Arranging truck repairs & maintenance on timely manner.
· Promoting safe work activities by conducting induction, site training, and attending safety meetings.
· Enforcement of safety procedures and process
The successful applicants will have a Bachelor's degree and backgrounds in Operations Management within the transportation industry and at least five year's experience in a similar role.
You will be a team-player who can develop a company and foster a strong relationship with both our employees and our customers.
