We have an exciting opportunity at our iconic Hunter Valley venue, The Valley Brewhouse. A busy, versatile food and beverage venue, that brews its own beer and is a popular family friendly venue, with a big emphasis on casual dining, functions and events.
Following a recent rebrand and management change, we are looking for an experienced and aspirational hospitality professional to join the existing strong management team.
The successful applicant will have a wealth of experience in managing hospitality venues, along with the following skills:
- minimum 2 years experience as a duty manager in a similar venue who is looking to step up and take on more responsibility
- friendly and outgoing personality, with the ability to talk to a range of different people, ages, demographics, etc
- passion to drive the business and achieve sales targets and bring the best out of the staff they work with to help achieve these goals
- ability to develop promotions and strategies to improve profitability of the hotel
- experience with TAB is essential
- experience rostering for large teams is beneficial
- experience managing hotels with large bistro operations preferred
- current NSW RSA & RCG certifications
- current drivers license and own transport
- ability to give and receive constructive criticism for the benefit of staff and the management team
