Falvey Hotels is looking for an experienced and hands on Venue Manager for Falvey's Stock Hotel. We are a family owned and operated business and have operated Hotels in Queensland for over 40 years.
About the role:
The successful applicant will need to demonstrate:
- Proven success in a senior hospitality management role or someone looking to take the next step to seniority
- Current certifications (RSA, RSG, RMLV & Approved Managers License)
- Good presentation and attention to detail
- Experience with rostering
- The ability to work within a team environment and motivate others
- Ability to professionally supervise, train and direct staff
- Strong stock control skills
- Conflict resolution
Job tasks and responsibilities:
Your ability to deliver and maintain a customer experience that is of a consistently high service standard will see you excel in this position.
You will work closely with the Groups Operations Managers to ensure both short term and long term goals are reached.
You will be required to work hands on, and assist in the operations of the venue day to day.
Skills and experience:
Ideally the successful candidate will possess strong supervisory skills, be motivated and willing to listen and learn.
Ability to order and maintain stock levels for both bars and retail operations.
Must be available for a variety of shifts including days, nights, weekends and Public Holidays.
Experience with live entertainment, TAB, KENO, gaming & restaurant highly regarded.
You must have the right to work in Australia.
