EMBR Hospitality is looking for a Venue Manager to oversee Oliveti, our newest addition to the group, located on Broadway in Glenelg.
Oliveti will be a 100-seater Modern Italian restaurant and is set to open in May.
You may already be a Venue Manager, or an experienced Food & Beverage Manager looking for that next step.
Venue Manager Responsibilities:
- Onboarding and training of staff
- Up-skilling and developing each team member specifically around premium product knowledge and service standards
- Accountability for day-to-day operations and business performance, including COGs and Wages
- Hands-on management and delivery of restaurant service
- Ensuring every guest has a seamless and entertaining experience in our venue
- Constantly monitor food to ensure quality and consistency
- Manage rosters and timesheets
- Ensuring that the venue and facilities are clean and organised.
- Managing all bookings dining & events and liaising with the clients to determine requirements.
- Proactively drive team morale and promote a productive and enjoyable team culture and environment
- Make decisions and take appropriate action regarding problems or conflicts between team members
- Implement and monitor feedback mechanisms to improve operations and the service culture
- Provide consistent reporting to the General Manager and Director
Required Skills and Experience;
- Minimum five years in Hospitality Management/Supervisory roles
- Experience in managing, training and developing staff
- A passion for food and beverage
- An in-depth understanding of hospitality financials
- Great interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- Strong negotiation skills and leadership abilities.
- A current RSA and RP Badge
This position reports to the EMBR Hospitality General Manager. A generous salary and performance-based bonus structure are on offer.
