Are you ready to play a vital role in supporting our community's sports venues? Major Venues is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and organised Casual Venues Support Officer to join our team. In this role, you'll provide essential administrative support to our Bookings Office, ensuring smooth operations across our six premier sporting venues:
- Gold Coast Sports and Leisure Centre
- Coomera Indoor Sports Centre
- Carrara Indoor Sports Stadium
- Runaway Bay Indoor Stadium
- Gold Coast Cycle Centre
- Gold Coast Sports Precinct
Working closely with the Supervisor and Venues Booking Officer, you'll assist in the coordination of facility hire, helping to bring a variety of activities to life.

About you
- Proficient in a wide range of communication styles – written, telephone and in-person.
- Efficient and highly organised, effectively prioritising their workload and meeting deadlines.
- Courteous and customer focused with the ability to pre-empt customer expectations.
- A team player with the ability to work autonomously in a flexible and resourceful manner.
- Able to think creatively and solve problems when faced with minor obstacles and setbacks.
- Fluent with digital systems including but not limited to Office 365. It would be desirable if the candidate had some experience with a Venue Management System.
